Job Description & Requirements Specialty : EEG Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 23 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Title : EEG Technician Location : Fort Dodge, IA Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights (3x12) Overview : You will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing neurodiagnostic care. You will operate and manage EEG procedures, apply electrodes, monitor brain‑wave recordings, and ensure accuracy and compliance with lab standards. Floating within the discipline across local campuses may be required. Key Responsibilities : Perform routine and advanced EEG procedures in hospital and bedside settings. Prepare and apply electrodes and sensors in accordance with standards. Monitor equipment, make adjustments for optimal recordings, and interpret basic brain‑wave patterns. Review patient history, explain procedures to patients, and educate on safety. Document all test results, patient contacts, supplies used, and changes in condition. Communicate with physicians, techs, and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care. Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, unit operations, and supply management. Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA). Qualifications : Minimum of 2 years' experience as an EEG Technician (travel contract experience preferred). Valid professional EEG Technologist credential (or ability to obtain). Knowledge of neurodiagnostic equipment and brain‑wave analysis. Strong technical, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to float within same discipline, work nights, weekends, call‑back. Must have a taxable address located more than 60 miles from the facility (for travel role).
