Position Title : Associate Attorney (General Trial)

Location : Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Position Overview :

The Associate Attorney position is based in our Fort Lauderdale office. As an Associate Attorney, you will work with a team of attorneys to provide legal advice and representation to our clients, and you will be responsible for performing legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and engaging in client communication. The position requires an energetic, detail-oriented, and motivated professional who enjoys a fast-paced and challenging work environment.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications :

• Law degree from a fully ADA accredited law school
• Civil defense background preferred
• Must have 1-3 years of Litigation Experience in one of the following areas : Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Property Damage, Civil Litigation, Insurance Defense, First Party Litigation, and Insurance Coverage.
• Ability to manage caseload and litigation staff
• Be able to work independently but also collaboratively with Practice Group Leaders
• Strong writing and oral communication skills
• Excellent research and analytical abilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• An active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
