Pre-Registration Specialist

A company is looking for a Pre Registration Specialist to confirm patient information and discuss liabilities prior to service.

Key Responsibilities

Confirm and collect patient information and liabilities to ensure a patient-friendly experience

Ensure accurate registration data, demographic information, and insurance coverage prior to services

Communicate patient liability estimates and attempt collections to meet productivity and quality standards

Required Qualifications

One (1) year of post high school business or college course work preferred

National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification preferred

Minimum one (1) year experience in a customer service role preferred

Medical Terminology proficiency by exam and one year of admitting, billing, or registration experience in a healthcare setting, or equivalent education

AA Degree with six months of healthcare experience accepted
