About the Role :
The Market Area Director is responsible for overseeing business operations, performance, and growth across a defined geographic territory. This role provides leadership, strategic direction, and operational support to ensure that all locations within the market area meet financial goals, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and maintain compliance with company standards. The Market Area Director partners closely with regional leadership and local managers to drive consistency, growth, and operational excellence.

Market Area Director Key Responsibilities :
Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple locations within the region, ensuring high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.Create systems and processes with local teams to meet sales, gross margin, and operational KPIs.Participate in daily stand-up meetings with local operational locations to drive daily operational excellence.Develop and implement regional operational strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives comprised of operations, human resources, marketing, and technology.Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the region and develop plans to capitalize on them.Monitor performance metrics (sales, customer satisfaction, operations) and implement corrective action plans when needed.Ensure operational compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.Provide financial oversight, including reviewing budgets, forecasting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and community partners within the market area.Develop a strong focus on recruiting talent in partnership with platform talent team and local service, sales, and install managers.Regularly report market performance and trends to senior leadership and recommend strategic adjustments.Market Area Director Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).7+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit operations, preferably in residential services.Sales-oriented background with a focus on driving sales growth through repeatable and scalable processes.Strong business acumen with proven ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and improve operational efficiency.Exceptional leadership, communication, and people development skills.Demonstrated success in driving growth and achieving performance targets across multiple locations.Ability to travel frequently within the assigned market area.Market Area Director Interpersonal Qualifications :
