Total Average Compensation : $19$21 / hour

Schedule : 3540 hours / week | Closed Sundays

Location : Lake Zurich & Buffalo Grove, Illinois

About the Role

Were looking for a compassionate, energetic Dog Bather who wants to make a difference in the lives of dogs and their families. In this foundational role, youll help dogs look, feel, and smell their best by providing essential grooming services to Scenthounds high standards.

Whether you're starting a new career in pet care or looking to grow into a future Groomer role, this is a great place to learn and advance.

What Youll Do

Prep and bathe dogs according to service orders

Blow-dry, brush, trim nails, clean ears and teeth, and express glands

Use our S.C.E.N.T. Check app to track and report wellness indicators

Work collaboratively with the grooming team to stay on schedule

Assist and ask for help when needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment for dogs and team members

Follow all hygiene and safety procedures set by Scenthound

Perform additional tasks as directed by the Scenter Manager

What Were Looking For

Passion for dogs and a strong interest in their health and well-being

Ability to lift dogs up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods

Team-oriented with great communication and time-management skills

Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Willing to work in a smoke-free workplace

Reliable and dependable transportation

Patience, attention to detail, and a desire to grow into a grooming role
