Job Description
Lead preconstruction efforts, including project budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment. Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment with project goals and expectations. Develop and manage detailed cost estimates and value engineering proposals. Oversee the preparation of proposals and bid submissions for new projects. Provide leadership and mentorship to the preconstruction team, fostering professional growth. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards throughout preconstruction phases. Track and report on preconstruction progress, identifying potential challenges and proposing solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality service.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Director of Preconstruction should have : a strong educational background in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Proven expertise in preconstruction processes, including estimating, budgeting, and scheduling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members. The ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. A deep understanding of construction industry practices, materials, and methods.
