Senior Special Procedures Radiology Technologist - Neurosurgery (SAN ANTONIO)

POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises and coordinates the technical operation and performance of the Special Procedure technologists in coordination with the professional staff, immediate supervisor (PCC) and Director of Radiology. Performs patient care duties directly related to Special Procedures / Interventional Radiology. Ensures the prompt and efficient performance of all special procedures performed by all technical staff. Keeps abreast of new technical concepts and disseminates departmental information. Supports University Healths policies, values and guest relations.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Registry by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists and License by the Texas Department of Health is mandatory. Bachelors degree and Special Cardio Vascular certification is preferred. Minimum of two years experience in Special Procedures and Interventional Radiology is required. Two years of supervisory experience is required.
