Job description8+ years of experience in BI development and data manipulation. Expert-level proficiency in Power BI and SQL. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric is highly preferred. Strong understanding of data sources including BigQuery, DB2, and SQL Server. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, technical environment. No healthcare industry experience required. Must be local to the Dallas area and available to work on-site at least 3 days per week (excluding Fridays). Initial 30-minute video interview with hiring manager. On-site 1-hour interview with the team. Fast review and decision process — candidates can be hired within a week.
A large health system is seeking a highly technical and experienced BI Developer to join our Dallas-based team. This is a backfill for a full-time employee. The ideal candidate will be a Power BI and SQL expert who can immediately contribute to report development and migration efforts, working closely with a large on-site technical team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Convert legacy reports into Power BI, supporting the team’s migration efforts.
- Work extensively with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and SQL to deliver scalable BI solutions.
- Manipulate and analyze data from BigQuery, DB2, and SQL Server environments.
- Collaborate with a technical team of 100+ to support ongoing BI initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy, performance, and accessibility across reporting platforms.
- Participate in root cause analysis and optimization of existing BI systems.
- Stay current with BI trends and tools, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem.
