IT Application Systems Manager

A company is looking for a Manager IT Application Systems specializing in managed care / payer technical environments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a team of Systems Analysts and Sr. Systems Analysts in planning, design, implementation, and support of core business and clinical solutions

Oversee application support for critical systems, ensuring seamless operations across the health plan's technology ecosystem

Maintain relationships with key application systems vendors and ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in implementing and supporting IT applications in a healthcare environment

6+ years of management experience leading technical resources in complex payer IT solutions

4+ years of experience with health plan functions including Claims, Utilization Management, and Care Management

Experience with Cognizant QNXT and CareAdvance solutions in a managed-care organization is preferred

Associate Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
