Gospel Music Director

Duties :

• Plan, direct, and lead music for Gospel worship services, ensuring a dynamic and spiritually enriching experience.
• Select and prepare appropriate Gospel music, incorporating both traditional and contemporary styles.
• Lead choir rehearsals and coordinate musical arrangements for Sunday services and special events.
• Recruit, train, and mentor choir members and musicians, fostering a strong and cohesive worship team.
• Play an instrument (keyboard, piano, or organ) as needed to support choir and congregational singing.
• Ensure music selections align with the worship service theme and receive approval from the Chaplain.
• Provide musical leadership for special services such as Christmas, Easter, Holy Days, and other Gospel worship celebrations.
• Ensure the proper care and use of chapel musical instruments and sound equipment.
