What You'll Be Doing
- Lead or support the design of roadway projects including typical sections, geometric layouts, drainage and hydraulic analyses, erosion control plans, safety features, and maintenance of traffic plans
- Prepare construction documents, including plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates
- Manage tasks and oversee work performed by junior engineers and CAD technicians
- Support the development and training of early-career staff
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure design excellence and client satisfaction
- Support a diverse portfolio of projects, including federal, commercial, and institutional clients
What You Bring To The Team
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited programLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of OklahomaMinimum of 5 years transportation design experienceProficiency with AutoDesk, Civil 3D, or OpenRoadsWorking knowledge of design standards and guidelines including :AASHTO Green BookRoadside Design GuideMUTCDOklahoma DOT Roadway Design ManualStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred Qualifications
Experience with Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) projects and familiarity with their design standards and plan development preferencesEssential Physical Functions
