Job description

Project Engineer – Denton, Texas

Location : Denton, TX

Key Responsibilities

Support and lead design work for civil and transportation engineering projects.
Perform stormwater management, grading, earthwork, and site geometry design.
Conduct hydraulics and hydrology modeling, detention design, and storm sewer layouts .
Prepare construction plans, specifications, and technical reports .
Work on roadway, intersection, and corridor development projects .
Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications .
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure quality and efficiency in design.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).

4–8 years of relevant civil engineering experience.

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred (or ability to obtain).

Experience with federally funded or TXDOT projects a strong plus.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required).

Strong time management, teamwork, and communication skills.
