Xavier University, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for Adjunct Instructors in The School of Psychology on a rolling basis. This role presents a unique opportunity for psychologists and Ph.D. / Psy.D. students in psychology to gain valuable teaching experience while sharing their expertise with our undergraduate majors or our doctoral (Psy.D.) students. We are particularly interested in hiring adjuncts with expertise in Developmental Psychology and Clinical / Counseling Psychology to teach specialty courses at the graduate level.

This role offers a salary of $2,400 per 3-credit hour undergraduate course and $3,200 per 3-credit graduate course. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester basis.

Candidates must be dedicated to graduate or undergraduate teaching and demonstrate excellence in their field. The successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to excellence in teaching and student engagement.

Minimum Qualifications :

• A Ph.D. or PsyD in the specialty area of psychology relevant to the course to be taught at the doctoral level (e.g., doctoral degree with specialty in developmental psychology for a Lifespan Development course)
• OR a Master's degree in a subfield of psychology and a minimum of three years of professional work experience in the area of your teaching assignment for undergraduate level courses
