Overview
Hardware Asset Manager, Service Excellence Team at Capital Group. The Hardware Asset Manager oversees the hardware lifecycle of end-user equipment, working with global vendors to order, deploy, repair, and recycle hardware, and manage the annual budget.
Responsibilities
- Hardware Asset Management : Manage the global fleet of end-user equipment and provide input into models and standards for desktops, laptops, monitors, mobile phones, printers, and supporting accessories. Coordinate with vendors and global associates to ensure equipment is updated and appropriately recycled.
- Team Leadership : Manage team leads and associates to ensure efficient service and positive user experience. Provide feedback, track metrics, mentor staff, and foster collaboration. Optimize tools and processes across Knowledge Management, AI / Automation, and Reporting by adopting new technologies.
- Vendor Management : Ensure vendors provide metric-based QBRs with monthly tracking and reporting on performance. Set goals to improve vendor performance in alignment with Capital Group's strategic objectives.
- Project Leadership : Oversee team budgets, allocate resources, identify cost-saving strategies, define tasks, track milestones, and report to the Senior Manager, ensuring deadlines are met and issues are escalated promptly.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM).5+ years leading diverse technical or product-focused teams.Expert knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Power BI.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and present complex, data-driven insights.Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resources effectively.Skilled in mentoring and coaching associates to enhance performance, providing actionable feedback, and holding associates accountable to performance expectations.Ability to drive continuous improvement by establishing goals and utilizing dashboards and metrics to foster collaboration around improvement efforts.Creative problem-solving and teamwork to overcome challenges.Compensation and Benefits
Base salary ranges vary by location : Southern California $136,858–$218,973; New York $145,077–$232,123.In addition to base salary, eligibility for annual performance bonus, Capital's profitability bonus, and a retirement plan with Capital contributing 15% of eligible earnings.Note : Temporary positions in Canada and the United States are excluded from the above compensation and benefit plans.Employment details
