Position Overview

Davey Utility Line Clearance a division of The Davey Tree Expert Company is pleased to offer a key opportunity as a Foreman / Foreperson CDL preferred and / or with climbing experience to join our team servicing the Dayton OH region.

Job Duties

Lead a2-5 person treecrew inperforming all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully formajor electric utility but not limited to :

• Pruning treetops repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal
• Removing broken limbs from utility lines roofs and other objects
• Application oftree identificationknowledgeand industry pruning guidelines
• Perform job-siteinspections with proper planning and execution of assigned work and tasks
• Properly maintain prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws chippers aerial lifts and more.
• Mentor and train new employees
