Field / Mobile Diesel Technician

Overview

My client is seeking applicants for a Service Technician position on their team in Tampa. Looking for a great team player with a focus on customer service. The successful candidate will diagnose, maintain and repair vehicles at their service center in Tampa.

Responsibilities

• Professionally represent the company and their manufacturers as a reliable support technician.
• Repair, diagnose and assist with retail and warranty customer buses at the facility.
• Perform unscheduled and / or scheduled repairs on Blue Bird and other OEM buses, following manufacturer guidelines and recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance when deemed necessary.
• Respond to work order requests and create repair orders in a timely fashion.
• Work under general direction of the Service Manager, however due to skill set may not need regular supervision.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
