Overview
User Experience (UX) Researcher 1, 2, Senior – Salt River Project (SRP). This role is part of the Strategic Research and Insights team and is responsible for consumer experience research and custom market research project management from inception to completion, including designing and planning research methodologies, data collection and analysis, and reporting / presentation of findings.

- Strong MS365 skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform multiple assignments concurrently
- Qualitative research skills (focus group moderation or in-depth interviewing) preferred
- Quantitative research skills (survey programming, analysis) preferred
- Qualtrics certification preferred
Responsibilities
Designs, plans, and leads the implementation and day-to-day management of user experience research, journey mapping, and both qualitative and quantitative research projects from inception to final deliverablesSupport marketing, customer operations, and other SRP teams on research projects as neededProactively manage multiple projects, prioritize efforts, and communicate progressConduct qualitative research activities (recruit participants, prepare discussion / testing guides, conduct interviews, facilitate user testing)Conduct quantitative research projects (questionnaire development, sample design, field coordination, data analysis, written reports and presentations)Collaborate with analytics to create an in-depth picture of user behavior and translate insights into actionable findingsCommunicate research findings to the broader team and organization to deepen SRP understanding of customers and their needsWork within the Qualtrics platform (survey development, data management, predictive analytics, dashboards)Build strong internal partnerships with cross-functional teams and business partnersManage relationships with third-party suppliers / vendors to ensure objectives are met, budget adherence, and timely deliverySupport other Strategic Research & Insights team members to meet critical deadlinesChampion UX research practices and contribute to internal templates, tools, and partnershipsStay current on market research topics and tools related to UX researchQualifications
Education : A bachelor’s degree related to the assignment is preferredExperience : Level 1 (Associate) – 0 to 2 years related experience; Level 2 (Journey) – 2 to 4 years; Level 3 (Senior) – 5+ years (with corresponding education alternatives)Hybrid workplace : SRP offers a hybrid model; telework up to three days per week for roles that can be performed remotely, with requirement to live and work in ArizonaBenefits
