Job Description / n

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of two years' general and vascular ultrasound experience and ARDMS registry.

/ n / n Responsibilities / n

Work in an ultrasonography department focused on general and vascular imaging, excluding ABIs, segmental pressure, echo, and breast exams

Adult patient population with a variety of ultrasound procedures

Operates all ultrasound imaging and related equipment

4x10 hour day shifts per week

Uses Epic EMR for documentation

Performs high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures in accordance with provider orders

Coordinates timely and effective patient care during exams

Submits acquired images and related information to radiologists for interpretation

Practices sterile technique and adheres to infection prevention policies

Collaborates and communicates with the multidisciplinary team

Scrubs or specific dress code not specified

Allow at least two weeks for background check and drug screen processing prior to start

Minimum of 2 years' experience in general and vascular ultrasound (excluding ABIs and segmental pressure studies); no echo or breast imaging required

Active ARDMS registry required

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required

Associate's degree required

Experience with Epic charting system preferred

Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills are required

Ability to safely transfer patients and perform ultrasound procedures

License required if applicable
