Description

Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including mental health history, exams, and medical evaluations

Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with mental illnesses or disorders

Conduct medication management by writing prescriptions, monitoring patients for any adverse or side effects, adjust prescriptions or dosage accordingly

Provide add-on psychotherapy and other evidence-based interventions to help patients manage their symptoms and improve their overall well-being

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, counselors, and NPs, to provide comprehensive care to patients

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and ensure all documentation is in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Participate in staff meetings, conferences, and other team-based activities to ensure high-quality patient care.

Stay current with new developments in the field of psychiatry and attend continuing education courses to maintain licensure and certification
