Work location : Texas Health Mansfield Hospital : 2300 Lone Star Rd Mansfield, TX 76063
Work hours : Part Time (24 Hour) Weekend Shift; Saturday and Sunday from 1830-0630

Here's What You Need
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required
And : Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or closely related field is preferred
Experience : De-escalation and customer service experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications :
DL - Drivers License (Class C and insurable) upon hire requiredACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 days requiredNCSO - Non-Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 120 days requiredCSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification. 120 days requiredTASER Certification- Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 120 days requiredWhat You Will Do :
Patrol buildings and clinics for unlocked secured areas for after-hour entry.Locks and opens doors according to schedules.Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas.Identifies and removes unauthorized individuals from property.Maintains compliance with Texas Health Police policies.Pursues and detains persons involved in criminal activity.Fills out incident / offense report forms and composes narratives.Utilizes critical thinking skills and provides the appropriate level of force for the situationResponds to and activates the appropriate emergency response codeInteracts with and provides assistance to Police, Fire, EMS and other emergency staff as requiredAdditional perks of being a Texas Health Security Officer :
