Located in Bellingham, WA, Highland is dedicated to delivering personalized care that enhances the well-being and quality of life of each of our residents. We are seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join our leadership team, bringing vision, expertise, and a passion for quality care to further our mission of providing exceptional service to our residents. As the CNO , you will play a key role in overseeing the nursing department, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and working collaboratively with the Administrator to drive strategic initiatives. You will have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated nursing professionals, implement quality assurance programs, and ensure regulatory compliance, all while making a significant impact on the lives of our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Team Development

• Provide visionary leadership to the nursing team, establishing a culture of professionalism, respect, and accountability
• Mentor, coach, and develop nurse managers, supervisors, and front-line nursing staff, driving high engagement, retention, and performance
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement staffing plans that maintain optimal nurse-to-resident ratios while balancing budget constraints and quality care standards
• Promote continuous learning and growth by assessing staff development needs and delivering tailored education and training programs
• Foster an environment where nursing staff feel supported, empowered, and motivated to deliver exceptional care
