Job Description – Journeys DDA

As a Behavior Technician you will provide direct support and intervention services to children with developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a behavior analyst or licensed professional, you will assist in the implementation of behavior intervention plans and strategies to help participants develop and improve their functional abilities and daily living skills. This position requires a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Responsibilities :

• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans :

Follow behavior intervention plans developed by a behavior analyst or licensed professional to address specific behaviors and skill deficits.

Assist participants in developing and improving developmentally appropriate functional abilities and daily living skills.

Collect accurate and detailed data on targeted behaviors and skill acquisition.

Interact directly with participants in various settings, such as homes, schools, or clinics.

Collaborate with the behavior analyst, intervention team, and other professionals involved in the participant's care.

These KPIs provide a comprehensive assessment of the Behavior Technician's performance in facilitating skill development, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the team to ensure effective intervention services for participants. It is important to establish specific targets or benchmarks for each KPI and regularly review progress to assess the technician's performance and identify areas for improvement.
