About the Role :
The Counselor I position at Evolve's Prosperity Manor Women's Center is a foundational role within our Health Care Services team, focused on providing compassionate and effective counseling support to individuals facing mental health and emotional challenges while in a substance abuse recovery program. The primary goal of this role is to facilitate client well-being through assessment, individualized treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic interventions. Counselors in this role work closely with clients to identify their needs, develop coping strategies, and promote personal growth and recovery. This position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and adherence to ethical and professional standards. Ultimately, the Counselor I contributes to improving the quality of life for clients by connecting clients to resources and fostering a supportive and safe environment for healing and development.
