Production Control Analyst I

Summary :
Analyze information, data and processes to improve material availability in support of production adherence to the master schedule. Conduct material research to eliminate the need for production supervisors to leave the work site. Promote communication between departments supporting production. Maintain metrics, which illustrate current performance. Maintains internal contact with Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering.

Physical Demands :
Work primarily conducted in an office setting with good lighting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing. Must be physically able to commute to buildings throughout the shipyard. Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise. Position requires employees to carry, raise, lower, push or pull objects up to 25 lbs.
Accountability :
Ensure that material availability is maximized at the job site. Use sound production control and business principles, communication, coordination and foresight to manage the workflow and level loads as necessary.
Pay Scale : $65,200 - $84,600
This pay range is a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. It takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and education.
