Production & Sales Support Coordinator - Aerospace Manufacturing

Overview

Steeldyne Industries / ABC Sheet Metal, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is seeking a highly organized and motivated professional to join our team. This role is well-suited for a recent college graduate with an engineering degree who is looking to get started in the aerospace manufacturing industry. The position works closely with our Sales Engineers, Production Manager, and shop floor leadership to ensure customer orders move seamlessly from intake to completion.

Responsibilities

• Expedite customer work orders by gathering and organizing all necessary documentation prior to production.
• Coordinate with the Production Manager, Foremen, and Sales Engineers to resolve missing information or technical issues before jobs are released.
• Serve as a customer liaison when clarification, additional details, or quality issue resolutions are required.
• Monitor and oversee outside vendor orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Support the Purchasing Department in resolving vendor-related challenges.
• Track progress of active jobs and proactively identify potential delays, keeping internal teams and customers informed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth hand-offs between departments.
