Summary

The primary purpose of this position is the operation of Manual Saw Machines to cut raw steel according to print specifications in preparation for weld and fabrication operations. This position is responsible for operation of the Manual Saw machines, checking measurements and tolerances, along with assisting in production as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow blue-prints and complete saw activities
• Inspect parts for non-conformances or defects
• Manually layout and cut parts according to print specifications
• Set tooling as needed to cut parts
• Safe operation of overhead cranes and forklifts (loading / unloading)
• Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of equipment as required
• Maintain an efficient, clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Work safely and responsibly, adhering to all safety policies, procedures and guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
