We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

• General Manager
• to oversee our restaurant operations at
• Blackbear Diner
• at our Garden City location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising staff, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests.
• Responsibilities
• Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.
• Manage kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, to maintain quality and consistency.
• Oversee staff performance, providing training and support to enhance skills in hospitality and culinary practices.
• Handle cash management processes, including cash handling procedures and daily financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff members.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that align with current trends in fine dining.
• Experience
• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food management practices, and culinary techniques.
• Experience with cash handling procedures and financial reporting in a restaurant setting.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• A passion for coffee culture is preferred but not required; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in service delivery.
