• Work in a 101-bed Emergency Department with 4 : 1 patient ratios (up to 7 : 1 for ED behavioral holds)
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement with flexibility to meet department needs
• Must float within all sections of the Emergency Department (no floating outside ED)
• 2 years nursing experience required with minimum 1 year ER experience
• Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center experience preferred
• Previous HCA experience preferred
• Required certifications before start date : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Work with Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system
• Navy scrubs uniform required
• Provide AIDET patient experience standards and maintain respectful behavior
• Update patient boards and communicate with patients throughout visit
• Teamwork mentality required with ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
