Composite Engineering Co-Op

Position Summary

Process development role focused on the composite fabrication of hulls, decks, superstructures, and smaller composites required for the construction of yachts. The primary focus of this role is the development of new, and continuous improvement of existing, processes required to meet the operational goals of the organization. Responsible for laminate design and structural analysis of assigned composite materials.

Job Responsibilities

• Support Composite Production transition from open molding to closed molding processes.
• Benchmarking current composite processes to achieve project goals that support overall business objectives including safety, productivity, schedule attainment, and cost.
• Development of closed molding composite processes aimed at the following objectives :
