Teaching Artist, part-time Job at Creative Clay in Saint Petersburg

Role Description

We are seeking professional artists in all disciplines to work as mentors for artists with disabilities. This is a part-time position (minimum of 18 hours per week) that involves a six-hour day in the studio at Creative Clay and in the community, with some light caretaking responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Mentor artists with disabilities in studio and community settings.
• Commit to a part-time schedule (minimum 18 hours per week) with six-hour studio days.
• Fulfill light caretaking duties as needed.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to transport member artists in a van / minibus.
• Pass a local law and level II background check and complete APD required training.
