Job description

Join RICBT, part of the Optum family, as a Licensed Clinical Therapist! As a crucial member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you’ll play a key role in our mission to enhance healthcare for all.

As a Clinical Therapist, you will address a diverse range of mental health conditions for our varied patient population. We provide comprehensive support systems, allowing healthcare providers to concentrate on delivering essential care.

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

  • Your expertise in screening and assessing patients for prevalent mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Delivering effective treatment through methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based techniques.
  • Carefully monitoring patients' treatment progress and making necessary adjustments based on clinical symptoms and treatment responsiveness.
  • Maintaining thorough and precise electronic medical records and clinical documentation while adhering to all regulatory standards.

    Required Qualifications :

  • A Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
  • The ability to obtain LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC licensure before starting the position.
  • Eligibility for enrollment in the Medicare program, with the ability to terminate opt-out if necessary, before beginning your new role.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • At least 2 years of post-master's degree experience providing behavioral health services.
  • Experience delivering therapy to individuals and families.
  • Comfortable using technology for professional communication and medical documentation, including tools like Excel, Outlook, and Athena RMS (or similar EHRs).
  • A proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • This role offers a salary ranging from $58,800 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
