Anesthesiologist – UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center (Culpeper, VA)

UVA Health is seeking Board Eligible / Board Certified Anesthesiologists to join our new in-house team at Culpeper Medical Center . This is a great opportunity to practice in a supportive community hospital with the resources of a leading health system.

Position Highlights

Flexible block scheduling (7 on / 7 off, 14 on / 14 off, or similar)

Inpatient-focused with occasional APP oversight

Access to specialty support in surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, and OB / GYN

Call schedule : Minimal Call

Epic EMR

Community hospital setting (51-100 beds; ~2,250-2,500 annual cases)

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary : $450K-$525K

Sign-on bonus (negotiable) + relocation assistance

CME : $6,000 + time off

Vacation :  10 weeks

Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

Non-productivity incentives

Candidate Requirements

MD / DO; Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology

ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

2026 / 2027 graduates welcome

J1 and H1b visas accepted

Must live within 20 miles of practice (per bylaws)
