Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Scott City, Kansas.

Position : Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location : Scott City, KS

Shift : 12-Hour Night Shift | 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM

Start Date : ASAP

Compensation : Weekly Gross – $2,614

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess, monitor, and provide care to patients during all stages of labor and delivery.
  • Monitor fetal heart rate patterns, contractions, and maternal vital signs.
  • Assist physicians and midwives with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and pain management interventions as prescribed.
  • Provide immediate postpartum care to mothers and perform newborn assessments (Apgar scoring, vital signs, cord care).
  • Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies, initiating life-saving interventions as necessary.
  • Educate and support mothers and families regarding childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and comply with hospital policies and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, compassionate, and effective patient care.

    • Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Active and Current California RN License.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
  • Certifications : BLS and ACLS required; NRP
  • Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
