As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help maintain a secure environment, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, and you will be responsible for managing access control duties, including badge checks. Pay Rate : $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Fri 06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Have at least one of the following : one or more years of law enforcement experience, two or more years of experience as a security-related supervisor or manager, or three or more years of security-related experience.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Ability to work in settings with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
