Job Details :

• Locations : Austin, TX; Boxborough, MA; Fort Collins, CO ( summer ); Longmont, CO ( summer ), Fishkill, NY; or Rochester, NY
• Onsite / Hybrid : This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in either a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op / intern term

What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking a highly motivated?Signal Integrity?Engineering intern / co-op to join our team at AMD. In this role

Focus on the electrical design, modeling, simulation and characterization of high-speed signal propagation in AMD products.

Build system level channel simulations to ensure packages and PCBs are well designed and meet required SI / PI specifications.

Extract models for packages, PCBs, and sockets from vendors, collecting standardized models if available, and running through simulation.

Who We Are Looking For

Knowledge of SI / PI fundamentals and hands-on experience in modeling complex structures such as packages and PCB boards.
