For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign on bonus for

Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) :

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time PSR position.

Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible;

former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

This is a full-time, 36 hour per week position.

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our Primary Care / Family Medicine team in Stockton Springs. The PSR is often the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in providing excellent customer service while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic.

Responsibilities :

  • Greet patients in person and by phone, provide courteous and professional service.
  • Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments.
  • Register patients, verify insurance, and collect co-pays as needed.
  • Answer patient inquiries and route messages to clinical staff.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Support providers and clinical staff with administrative tasks.

    • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education : High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • License / Certifications : N / A
  • Experience : Previous office experience with medical office experience preferred.
  • Additional Skills / Requirements Required : N / A
  • Additional Skills / Requirements Preferred : Proficient computer skills.
