Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for efficiently picking orders off racks using RF scanning technology and performing general shipping and receiving tasks. The role involves operating a forklift approximately 70% of the time, with the remaining 30% dedicated to other warehouse duties. Experience in loading trucks, shrink wrapping, and breaking down pallets is highly beneficial, and food handling experience is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders off racks using RF scanning technology.
• Operate a sit-down forklift, preferably with previous certification.
• Load trucks and wrap pallets, ensuring items are securely packed.
• Ensure the exact quantity and type of product is prepared and pulled consistently.
• Perform picking duties efficiently, meeting process standards.
• Maintain a dependable and reliable work ethic as a self-starter and team player.
• Follow directions and procedures accurately without deviation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, ensuring comfort while operating within a warehouse and distribution setting. The role requires reliable transportation for a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 11 : 30am-8pm; shift may change to 2 : 30pm-11 : 00pm at a later date.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
