Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Wilmington, DE office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist with legal experience. The following list of essential functions is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned in addition to those listed : perform collection procedures as defined / trained; monitor / pursue outstanding A / R balances; maintain / update client and payor contact information in the collection management system; understand / utilize clients' billing guidelines, engagement letters, payment history to determine appropriate collection actions; run monthly reports, review, prioritize top delinquent A / R balances; prepare additional analysis as required and report risky findings to management.

Responsibilities

• High school diploma or equivalent and accounting credential
• At least three (3) years of experience in the field or in a related field.
• Organization and prioritization

• Familiarity with accounting programs
• Basic understanding of principles of accounting
• 10-Key
• MC Office suite
• Ability to multitask
