Supply Chain Optimization Intern

Interns will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. Interns must work in accordance with DTNA's core values of passion, respect, integrity, and discipline. Internship positions can be located at various DTNA locations across the US. We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June. Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability. The Supply Chain Optimization Intern will join our Procurement and Supply Organization to help develop / implement strategies aimed at improving operational performance and reducing costs. This intern will support the following groups / workstreams :

• The transportation group, responsible for managing DTNA's transportation network, which includes a variety of functions related to freight management. This team works on optimizing the transportation network to ensure timely delivery, while meeting operational and cost targets.
• The 3PL Network (procurement, warehousing, cross-docks, etc.), responsible for managing the operational performance within the 3PL network to primarily support the truck plants. This network includes 14+ warehouses and 6+ cross docks in North America.
• The Packaging group, responsible for ensuring all parts within the DTNA network have an approved packaging concept. In addition, the team manages the returnable packaging inventory within the network to ensure suppliers are able to meet their shipping requirements

Salary placement is determined by your anticipated graduation year and ranges between $21 - $29 per hour. Benefits include :
