Warehouse Inspector $17.40 / hr - 1st Shift

Job Description

Join our team as a Quality Inspector, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products through meticulous inspection and evaluation. You will work in a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment, providing essential oversight for both domestic and imported products.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of in-process and final stage products.
• Evaluate and process non-conforming material reports.
• Conduct shipping audits.
• Perform process capability studies and SPC data analysis, making recommendations based on findings.
• Read and understand blueprints to ensure product compliance.
• Evaluate and process materials returned from customers.
• Set up measurement equipment for precise testing.
• Conduct micro-analysis for microhardness testing and carburization / decarburization analysis.
• Train new employees to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Work Environment

Work in an automotive manufacturing environment with a focus on precision and quality. The facility operates on a shift basis, with opportunities to work first (7 : 00 am to 3 : 00 pm) and second shifts (3 : 00 pm to 11 : 00 pm).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medina, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.40 - $18.90 / hr.
