Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,740 per week in Polson, MT

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Labor and Delivery Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery License : Valid RN license Certifications : BLS, NRP, CLC, Stable Must-Have : Previous charge experience Experience with patient ratios of 1 : 1, 1 : 2, 1 : 4 Familiarity with Epic charting system Description : This position requires a registered nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery. The nurse will care for both mother and baby throughout all phases of obstetric care. Floating to other units may be required based on unit needs. Weekend shifts will be required on a variable schedule. No on-call duties are required for this position. The expected patient ratios will range from 1 : 1 to 1 : 4. Staff will assist with tasks within their competency when there are no active patients in Labor and Delivery. Daily census includes neonates, infants, and adults. Unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Charting will be conducted using the Epic system. The nurse will handle procedures such as circulating for C-sections and performing sterile vaginal exams. Candidates must possess and maintain required certifications throughout the duration of employment. All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility as needed.
