Job descriptionPatient Volume / Census : 6-9 ICU patients per night Case Mix : Acute stroke, Acute head / Spine trauma, Neurosurgery, General neurology, and some MICU overflow) No. of Beds in Department : 23 NeuroICU beds Support Staff Available : Other NPs / PAs Reason for Coverage : Temporary Supplemental Coverage Rate : TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Perform central line and arterial line placements Licenses : Active Connecticut Medical License Experience : Dedicated Neuro ICU experience Expertise in acute stroke, head / spine trauma, neurosurgery, and general critical care Other Qualifications : Ability to work independently in a critical care environment
