Job Title : Customization Specialist

Job Summary
The Customization Specialist will be trained to follow detailed job instructions. Disassemble, modify, and reassemble knives. Clean, inspect and repackage knives. Perform laser engraving on knife blades, assemble knife components to completed knives, and customizing apparel.
Tasks
- Learn and follow detailed job instructions to correctly perform modifications to knives.
- Laser engrave knives using an industrial laser.
- Assemble knives from individual components.
- Customizing apparel / articles of clothing using industrial printer
- May include other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Skills
Ability to follow detailed instructions to perform correct modifications or assembly.Knowledge of and ability to use various tools (screwdriver, impact driver, pin punch, etc.)Manual dexterity of hands for repetitive knife modification and assembly.Work independently with minimum supervision.Safe handling of knives and other sharp-edged tools.Basic understanding of Microsoft suite programsSelf-motivated and accountable.Physical Demands
Lift 50 lbs. of knives in cardboard boxes to work area.Stand or sit for extended periods of time while performing assigned tasks.Wear safety glasses and hearing protection while performing assigned tasks.
Follow all safety regulations.Work Environment
Machine shop / assembly environment with some noise.Overtime may be required occasionally based on business need.Close toed shoes are required.Education and Experience
Must be 18 years old or older.High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
Full time position Monday - Friday.8 hours per day.40 hours per week.Starting pay- $15.00 per hrOther Duties
