Sales Professional
We are working with a leading ag company seeking an experienced sales professional to cover a key regional territory. This individual will be responsible for building strong grower relationships, driving seed sales, and providing trusted agronomic insight to maximize customer success.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and grow ag product sales within the assigned regional territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers, dealers, and agricultural partners.
- Provide agronomic support, product recommendations, and technical expertise to customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market share through prospecting and networking.
- Coordinate with internal teams on product availability, pricing, and marketing strategies.
- Deliver presentations, conduct product demonstrations, and represent the company at field days and grower meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in seed sales, agronomy, or agricultural input sales.Strong knowledge of regional crops, farming practices, and agronomic principles.Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently in a territory-based role.Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Ag Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the territory.What's in it for you :
