The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects.   The ideal candidate will be required to manage all contractual requirements, design drawings, and project specifications that include, but not limited to :  On-Site Project Management, Project Scheduling, Coordination & Project Controls, Construction Billings & Cash Flow Projects, Cost tracking for sequential costing, Job Cost Analysis, Project Schedule Adherence, Meeting Minutes and Documentation, Project Monthly Report Generation, Change Management Reports, Application for Payment Verification, Contract Administration, Punch-List Management, Warranty Review & Procurement, As-Built Document Procurement, Draft Subcontractor agreements ensuring alignment with contractual scope, project plans and specifications, and company standards. Prepare, submit, and track monthly payment applications in accordance with contract terms.

The candidate will work with our team to help achieve their respective project management objectives. This position reports directly to the Senior Project Manager.

Minimum Requirements :

Hold a degree in construction management or related field with a minimum of 5 years of work experience within the construction industry or hold equivalent years of education and construction management training. Proven ability to manage multiple projects / activities in a dynamic fast paced environment. Superior communication and organization development skills.  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams. While the candidate will work closely with a project management and administrative team, the candidate must be independently driven and proactive. Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and production, Microsoft Project or equivalent software and in Microsoft Office suite software-Excel / Word / Outlook also needed along with estimating software knowledge. Candidate must have access to reliable transportation as projects are located at sites throughout the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.  Candidates must be able to pass background investigations required for site access.
