We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Entry-Level Network Associate to join our growing IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to transition into the exciting field of network infrastructure.

As an Entry-Level Network Associate, you will work under the guidance of experienced network engineers, gaining hands-on experience with various network technologies and operations. You will play a crucial role in supporting our network infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and optimal performance.

Responsibilities :

Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points).

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers as needed.

Support network security initiatives, including user access management and basic firewall rule configuration.

Assist in maintaining network documentation, including diagrams, inventories, and configuration files.

Participate in network upgrades and patching activities.

Respond to network-related service requests and provide technical support to end-users.

Learn and apply best practices for network management, security, and troubleshooting.

Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and industry trends.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the IT department.

Qualifications :

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience / certifications.

Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).

Familiarity with common network protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SSH).

Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to professional development.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred (but not required) Qualifications :

CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification (or currently pursuing).

Experience with network monitoring tools.

Basic understanding of Linux / Unix operating systems.

Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

The compensation range posted for this position represents the anticipated minimum and maximum compensation for this position based upon a good faith and reasonable estimate. The exact compensation offered will depend on several factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, training, education and / or physical location; internal equity; and, budget. Any position working 2nd or 3rd shift will be considered for additional shift differential pay.
