Job description

Leading defense firm is seeking a Partner or Senior Counsel with Construction Litigation / Labor Law experience to join their thriving Manhattan office. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of litigation experience. Portables are not required. Option to work fully remote.

Responsibilities :

Handle cases from inception to resolution including preparation of pleadings, motion practice, taking and defending depositions and trial work
Independently manage a caseload
Make court appearances
Communicate with clients and provide status reports

Qualifications :

7+ years of Construction / Labor Law experience

Knowledge of (NYS Labor Law 240, 241)

Trial / trial prep experience

Licensed to practice in NY

Salary Range 175k-250k (DOE)+ Comprehensive Benefits.
