About The Position
Job Title : Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN
Profession : Registered Nurse

Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Night
Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)
Experience : 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience preferred
License : South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact State RN License required
Certifications : BLS, PALS (American Heart Association) required
Must-Have :
Experience in ECMO and CPR preferred.
Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
Description :
The Pediatric Critical Care float pool RN will work 3x12 hour night shifts.
This position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week.
The RN will be responsible for handling a patient ratio of 1 : 2 / 1 : 3.
Floating to various pediatric units is required, including critical care units.
Certified candidates with a pending license will be considered.
All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application.
Travelers should be prepared for potential assignments during emergency situations.
Compliance modules will be completed prior to starting the role.
Preferred skills include the management of ventilated patients and care of central lines.
Candidates must be able to interpret arterial blood gases and manage dysrhythmias.
Knowledge in pediatric dosage calculations is essential.
A commitment to every other weekend and holiday rotation is required.
