Job Summary :
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of sport court construction projects. Additionally, this position includes assisting with our sales team on prospective project site visits and estimating. This role requires excellent coordination skills, technical knowledge of sport court construction, and the ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors across various job sites. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction management and a passion for building quality sports surfaces built for competitive play.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all phases of sport court construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely project delivery.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, draft project estimates and assist with the sales process.
- Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as needed.
- Oversee on-site activities to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to scope.
- Maintain project documentation, including regular reports, RFIs, change orders, and punch lists.
- Conduct site visits to inspect work progress, resolve issues, and ensure performance standards are met.
- Coordinate final inspections with customers.
- Actively recruit new talent and sub-contractors.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).3+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in sports surfaces or specialty construction.Some sales experience.Proven experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.Knowledge of asphalt and concrete surfaces and concrete foundations. Knowledge in sport court construction is a plus!Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Contractor Foreman, ProCore, CAD software) and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Ability to travel to job sites as required.OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain.Benefits
