Role : Senior Android Developer

Location : Irving, TX - onsite 5 days

Duration : 6 months contract

Job Description :

As an Android Engineer - you are joining a multidisciplinary team of product managers, designers and engineers who create digital products that hundreds of thousands of people experience every day. You must have a strong and continuously growing proficiency in Android application development using Java, Kotlin. This includes actively participating in designing, developing, reviewing, unit testing and releasing apps for Android powered devices to drive our digital products. The ideal candidate has a passion for code and putting the customer first and delivering an exceptional experience through the creation of extendable and re-usable products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications from concept to deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using Kotlin or Java.
• Implement user interface designs that are visually appealing and adhere to Android design guidelines.
• Optimize apps for performance and responsiveness across different devices and screen sizes.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other web services into Android applications.
• Collaborate with backend developers to define and implement API endpoints.
• Write unit tests and ensure high code quality using testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues to improve stability and performance.
